Description
The ADOPT Facilitator Support Grant helps farmers, growers and foresters in England turn an idea for an on-farm trial or experiment into a Full ADOPT Grant application. It pays for an external Project Facilitator to help develop and submit that application, rather than funding the proposed trial itself. The grant is part of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ Farming Innovation Programme, delivered in partnership with Innovate UK.
The proposed Full ADOPT project must test an idea or solution that is new or not yet widely used, address a significant on-farm or immediate post-farmgate challenge or opportunity, and show potential benefits for other farmers, growers or foresters in England. The programme aims to improve application quality and make ADOPT funding accessible to a wider range of applicants.
