Description
The ADOPT Facilitator Support Grant is delivered by Innovate UK with funding from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), through its Farming Innovation Programme. It helps farmers, growers and foresters in England engage an external Project Facilitator to develop a Full ADOPT Grant application, particularly applicants less familiar with Innovate UK systems.
The intended Full ADOPT project must trial new or not widely used ideas in real on-farm conditions, addressing significant on-farm or immediate post-farmgate challenges. It should demonstrate benefits to other farmers, growers or foresters in England through improved productivity, resilience, sustainability or progress towards net zero. The support grant funds application development, rather than the trial itself. A support grant is not required to apply for a Full ADOPT Grant.
