Description
The Advanced Clinical Fellowship is designed to support clinically qualified professionals in the UK who are seeking to build an independent research career in dementia while continuing their clinical practice. The fellowship provides substantial funding for research time, project materials, training, and professional development, enabling fellows to develop impactful research programs closely aligned with Alzheimer’s Research UK’s strategy. Emphasis is placed on research related to the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of dementia, with a particular interest in interventional clinical trials and the use of clinical samples. Fellows are expected to engage with patient and public involvement and undergo both peer and lived experience review, ensuring research is informed by those affected by dementia.
