Description
The Advanced Clinical Fellowship from Alzheimer's Research UK is designed to help clinicians committed to dementia research progress toward independent research careers while maintaining their clinical responsibilities. The fellowship provides substantial resources for research, training, and career development, with an emphasis on projects that integrate clinical practice and research. Projects focusing on interventional clinical trials, use of clinical samples, and translational research aligned with ARUK’s strategic priorities are especially encouraged.
Fellows are expected to dedicate up to 0.5 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) to research, with flexible arrangements possible to balance clinical duties. The scheme aims to foster a new generation of clinical academics who can drive advances in dementia treatment, diagnosis, and prevention.
