Description
The Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF) supports research in aesthetic and cosmetic plastic surgery through this grant. Projects must address focused research questions and may range from pilot studies collecting preliminary data for larger future proposals to advanced investigations whose results could have a more immediate impact on patient care. The foundation encourages new research concepts and novel ideas.
The program serves surgeons across career stages and practice settings, including residents, fellows, junior faculty, advanced academicians, and early-career through advanced practitioners. Research topics may include breast augmentation, liposuction, nose reshaping, eyelid surgery, tummy tuck, and facelift, but are not limited to these procedures. Supported work has also included research on body-contouring outcomes in weight-loss patients.
