    Description

The Mershon Center for International Security Studies at The Ohio State University offers small grants to current individual faculty and graduate student affiliates. The program’s dedicated page limits support to travel undertaken to conduct research or present at a conference. Preference goes to proposals directly connected to projects already supported by the Center rather than new projects.

The Center supports research addressing international, national, and human security challenges, including diplomacy, conflict, peacemaking, governance, and cooperative problem-solving. Its emphasis is on the human and social dimensions of these issues. It encourages interdisciplinary, collaborative, and engaged research with implications for policy or practice, while welcoming traditional scholarship that contributes to active dialogue within the Mershon community.
