The Affordable Multifamily Program Upstate (AMP Up, PON 6088) offers technical assistance, concierge support, and financial incentives to facilitate energy efficiency, electrification, and climate resilience upgrades in low-to-moderate-income multifamily buildings across upstate New York. The program is designed to help building owners navigate the retrofit process, from project scoping through construction completion, and provides a single point of contact for streamlined support. Eligible measures include appliance replacements, weatherization, electrification (such as heat pump installations), deep retrofits, and resilience enhancements (e.g., floodproofing, extreme heat/wind protections). Incentives are awarded per dwelling unit and can be stacked across categories, with higher cost-share caps for smaller buildings.
