Description
NYSERDA’s Affordable Multifamily Program Upstate (AMP Up), offered under PON 6088, supports low- to moderate-income multifamily building owners and managers in upstate New York. Operating under the 2026–2030 LMI Energy Efficiency and Building Electrification Order, it combines financial incentives with technical assistance and concierge services to reduce the cost and complexity of building upgrades.
Supported work ranges from refrigerator replacements and straightforward in-unit installations to weatherization, heat pump systems, and comprehensive deep retrofits. Associated resilience enhancements address flooding, extreme heat, and wind hazards. Participating contractors guide projects from application and assessment through construction oversight and closeout. The program aims to reduce energy consumption and utility bills while improving resident comfort and quality of life.
