Description
This fellowship program enables researchers based at the University of the Witwatersrand to undertake a two-month research visit at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh. The scheme prioritizes projects in health informatics, rangeland management, inequality studies, digital innovation, environmental humanities, and medical humanities. Fellows receive a bursary, travel support, dedicated workspace, computing resources, university email, and library access. They are expected to participate fully in IASH activities, including presenting a seminar and submitting a project report at the end of their stay. The program encourages interdisciplinary research and fosters collaboration between Wits and Edinburgh researchers.
