Description
The AGRI Farm to Kids Full Tray Grant, administered by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, is a competitive reimbursement grant designed to help Minnesota K-12 school districts and early childhood education (ECE) centers expand their Farm to Kids programs. The grant reimburses costs for eligible foods grown or raised in Minnesota and served through federal child nutrition programs, such as the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), Seamless Summer Option (SSO), and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The goal is to deepen institutional relationships with local farmers, food hubs, and distributors, diversify menus, and strengthen Minnesota's agricultural community.
