Description
The Agricultural Resources Conservation Fund (ARCF), administered by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, provides cost-share assistance to Tennessee landowners and partners for implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) that reduce agricultural water pollution and soil erosion. The program is delivered primarily through Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs), but Resource Conservation and Development Councils, universities, and agricultural associations may also participate. ARCF funds on-the-ground conservation projects, educational initiatives, and specialized equipment purchases, with a focus on improving water quality in watersheds affected by agriculture.
