Description
This grant aims to accelerate the large-scale adoption of agroforestry systems to enhance soil health across the EU and Associated Countries. It supports projects that develop, pilot, and monitor agroforestry practices at the landscape level, using interdisciplinary, participatory, and multi-actor approaches. Projects should co-design and implement agroforestry systems, evaluate their impacts on soil health, validate business models, and address environmental, social, and economic benefits and challenges. Emphasis is placed on collaboration across the value chain, capacity building, open access to data, and alignment with major EU strategies such as the European Green Deal, EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, and the EU Soil Strategy for 2030.
