Description
This applicant-led opportunity is administered by UK Research and Innovation’s Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and co-funded by the State of São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). It supports well-defined collaborative projects within both organisations’ remits, linking UK researchers with eligible researchers in São Paulo, Brazil. Interdisciplinary collaborations are welcome, but arts and humanities must lead the research questions and methods. Individual research may be included where it adds value to the collaboration.
The programme aims to strengthen relationships among researchers, practitioners and potential research beneficiaries. It also supports less experienced researchers in developing expertise and careers through collaboration with senior researchers and project leadership. Projects should maximise the value of their outcomes through communication beyond academia and, where appropriate, knowledge transfer to research communities and other contexts.
