Description
The AHRC Responsive Mode: Catalyst Awards, offered by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) through the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), are designed to empower researchers who have not previously led significant research projects. This scheme provides flexible funding to accelerate the career trajectory of emerging independent researchers, foster leadership skills, and support the delivery of ambitious or complex research initiatives. Projects can be single-discipline or interdisciplinary, with a primary focus within AHRC’s subject remit, and support is available for both practice-based and practice-led research. The scheme strongly encourages collaboration, equitable partnerships, and a clear articulation of the developmental impact for all involved.
