The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW), based at the Medical College of Wisconsin, supports community-led learning events that build knowledge, skills, and networks among Wisconsin’s current health professionals and next generation of leaders. The program aims to develop a health workforce that is increasingly accessible, equipped, and representative, with learning participants can apply to improve health in Wisconsin communities.
Events should address a key learning gap and align with AHW’s Education and Workforce Development pathway. This pathway supports the health research, health care, and community and public health workforce in meeting Wisconsin residents’ diverse and evolving needs. Successful applications connect the proposed learning to practical action that advances health and/or health equity.
