The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW), based at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), supports learning events that build knowledge, skills, and networks among Wisconsin’s current health professionals and future leaders. The program aims to advance a health workforce that is increasingly accessible, equipped, and representative, with learning that participants can apply to improve health in Wisconsin communities.
Events should address a key learning gap and align with AHW’s Education and Workforce Development pathway. This pathway supports the health research, health care, and community and public health workforce in meeting Wisconsin residents’ diverse and evolving needs. Successful applications identify a targeted audience, primarily Wisconsin-based health workforce participants, and explain how participants will translate new knowledge and skills into action that advances health or health equity.
