Description
Anthropic's AI for Science Program aims to accelerate scientific discovery by providing free API credits to researchers working on projects where advanced AI can drive meaningful progress. The program is particularly focused on fields such as biology, life sciences, biomedical research, genetic data analysis, drug discovery, and agricultural productivity. Selected researchers gain access to Anthropic’s Claude models and, for some calls, the Claude Science workbench, enabling them to analyze complex data, automate scientific workflows, and generate reproducible research outputs.
The initiative is designed to support nonprofit and academic research teams whose work has the potential for broad scientific or societal impact, aligning with Anthropic’s mission to apply AI for the benefit of humanity.
