Description
This Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action funds the development of a dedicated European virtual AI support platform specifically for the cultural and creative sectors and industries (CCSI). The platform will serve as a collaborative hub, connecting CCSI professionals, researchers, AI technology companies, creative startups, ethical AI experts, rights management infrastructures, and other stakeholders. Its main objectives are to:
- Provide shared services, expertise, capacity building, training, and tools tailored to CCSI needs.
- Enhance innovation and competitiveness in the sector through AI adoption.
- Develop and disseminate ethical AI frameworks, best practices, and toolkits.
- Foster cross-sector collaboration and synergies, including with other EU initiatives and infrastructures.
- Support copyright infrastructure for AI use and promote education and training for AI adoption.
- Develop roadmaps for emerging AI challenges and engage in policy dialogues.
- Ensure alignment with EU values such as transparency, ethical standards, cultural diversity, and equitable access.
The project will build on outcomes from Horizon Europe and other EU-funded initiatives, with the goal of establishing a sustainable, operational virtual platform by the end of the project.
