--- ## Description The program provides funding to local, chartered AIA Societies for creative outreach activities that promote archaeology and the mission of the Archaeological Institute of America. Supported projects should focus on public outreach and education, attract new members, and foster community engagement. Eligible activities go beyond regular lecture series and may include workshops, fairs, symposia, or other innovative events that are replicable by other societies. Grant funds can be used for materials, travel, honoraria, publicity, and related expenses, but not for basic operating costs or hiring outside event planners.
