--- ## Description The program provides funding for local Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) societies to develop and implement creative outreach activities that engage their communities with archaeology. The grant is designed to encourage events that go beyond standard lecture programs, such as workshops, interactive activities, collaborations, and educational initiatives. Projects should aim to promote archaeology, advance the AIA’s mission, attract new members, and increase the visibility of both archaeology and the AIA at the local level.
