Description
The AIA Society Outreach Grant Program is designed to enable chartered AIA Societies to plan and execute outreach activities that promote archaeology and the mission of the Archaeological Institute of America. The program prioritizes innovative, replicable projects that extend beyond standard lecture series, focusing on public education, community engagement, and attracting new members to the AIA. Eligible expenses include materials, travel, honoraria, advertisements, and publicity related to organizing and conducting outreach events. Preference is given to new initiatives that can serve as models for other societies.
