Description

The program encourages chartered AIA Societies to design and implement creative outreach activities that advance the mission of the Archaeological Institute of America. Funded projects should promote archaeology, foster public education, and increase community engagement, especially by attracting new members and forming local partnerships. Eligible activities may include workshops, fairs, symposia, or any event that extends beyond standard lecture series, and preference is given to innovative, replicable projects. Funding covers a range of expenses, such as materials, travel, honoraria, advertisements, and publicity, but not basic operational costs or external event management.
