Description
The AICPA Foundation Fellowship for Accounting Doctoral Students provides financial support to CPAs who are starting or currently enrolled in a full-time accounting Ph.D. or DBA program at an AACSB-accredited institution in the United States. The fellowship aims to develop future accounting faculty by recognizing individuals with significant potential as educators and mentors. Multiple $15,000 awards are granted annually, with the possibility of renewal for up to three consecutive years, contingent on academic progress and continued eligibility. The program consolidates several prior initiatives and honors the legacy of William F. Ezzell, Jr., a champion for CPA education. Each year, five fellows are further recognized with the Bill Ezzell Award for exceptional promise.
