Description
This grant provides funding for short-term (up to 10 days) arts residencies designed specifically to enrich the lives of veterans in Arkansas. Administered by the Arkansas Arts Council as part of the Arts in Education (AIE) Lifelong Learning initiative, the program supports hands-on creative engagement with professional artists. Unlike other AIE programs, artists are not required to be on the Arts in Education Artist Roster. The grant is intended for community-based or governmental organizations and institutions that serve veterans, with the goal of fostering personal growth, community connection, and well-being through the arts. An in-service workshop can be included as part of the residency.
