Description
The Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) runs the Fiscal Year 2027 Young Investigator Program to support individual scientists and engineers who show exceptional promise in basic research. The program aims to foster creative science and engineering, advance early-career development, and connect investigators with challenges relevant to the Air Force and Space Force.
AFOSR seeks unclassified proposals in research areas identified in its current broad agency announcement. In partnership with the Laboratory for Physical Sciences, it also anticipates awards for experimental or theoretical research in gate-based quantum computing. Each proposal may address only one research portfolio area.
