Description
The Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) Young Investigator Program (YIP) provides targeted support to early-career researchers in science and engineering. The program aims to foster creative basic research, accelerate the career development of promising young investigators, and connect them with Air Force and Space Force missions and scientific challenges. Awards are made to U.S. institutions for research led by eligible principal investigators (PIs) with outstanding potential.
