Description
This scholarship program is designed for students pursuing two-year associate degrees, diplomas, or technical certificates at accredited trade schools or community colleges in the United States, with the intent to enter skilled trades or technical careers in the iron and steel industry. Each awardee receives a US$2,600 scholarship for one academic year, paired with a required paid internship, apprenticeship, or work-based learning placement at a U.S. steel-producing company or steel industry supplier, coordinated through the FAME USA program. The program emphasizes technical skill development, hands-on experience, and demonstrated interest in steel manufacturing or related fields.
