The Alan J. Magill Fellowship, established by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, honors the legacy of Dr. Alan J. Magill, a leader in global tropical medicine. This fellowship provides funding to support mentorship, career, and leadership development projects for ASTMH members who are early-to-middle stage mid-career professionals based in low or low-middle income countries. The program aims to foster leadership in tropical medicine and global health, empowering emerging leaders from resource-limited settings.
