Description
The Alaska Industry Internship offers undergraduate students at Alaska Space Grant Program (ASGP) affiliate institutions the opportunity to participate in full-time, 10-week summer internships with selected Alaskan industry partners. Interns work on industry-driven projects, gain hands-on STEM experience relevant to NASA’s mission, and are required to submit a final report and present their work at a public forum, such as the Alaska Space Grant Education and Research Symposium. The program aims to foster industry-academic connections and enhance students’ professional development in STEM fields across Alaska.
Internship opportunities are available with a range of Alaskan industry partners, including aerospace, biotech, geophysics, and aviation companies. Internship duties, locations, and additional benefits (such as travel or lodging) vary by host company.
