Description
Albertine Dance supports contemporary dance exchange between France and the United States through FUSED: French-U.S. Exchange in Dance. Established in 2004, the initiative is a program of Albertine Foundation in partnership with Villa Albertine. It funds nonprofit presenting organizations bringing artists and audiences together through touring, performances, new productions, and collaborative residencies.
The program emphasizes contemporary and innovative work reflecting the diversity of the French and U.S. artistic scenes, especially artists whose work has rarely been seen in the partner country. Touring Grants support French productions in the United States and U.S. productions at major international festivals in France. Creative Grants support collaborations between choreographers and companies across both countries, including French organizations hosting American artists for collaborative residencies.
