    Description

Albertine Visual Arts – Étant donnés is a long-standing program dedicated to strengthening ties between France and the United States in contemporary visual arts. It supports collaborations, new commissions, and the presentation of works by living French and American artists that have rarely been shown in the partner country. The program offers two main funding streams:

    • Creative Grants: For American and French nonprofit institutions to organize exhibitions or production projects.
    • Curatorial Fellowships: For American curators (independent or institution-affiliated) to conduct research in France.

The program encourages projects that result in new international partnerships, co-productions, or artistic exchanges and has funded over 350 projects to date.
