Description
The Albertine Visual Arts – Étant donnés program promotes artistic exchange and collaboration between French and American visual artists, curators, and nonprofit institutions. For over 30 years, it has introduced artists whose works are rarely shown in the other country, fostering contemporary art ties through exhibitions, new commissions, and curatorial research. The program offers two main opportunities: Creative Grants for institutions organizing exhibitions or new productions, and Curatorial Fellowships for American curators conducting research in France. Priority is given to projects that create new partnerships, support emerging and established artists, and encourage long-term cultural exchange.
