Description
The Alfred Sherwood Romer Prize is awarded annually by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology to honor an outstanding scientific contribution in vertebrate paleontology by a predoctoral student. The prize is given for the best oral presentation of original research during the Romer Prize session at the SVP Annual Meeting. Selection is based on the scientific merit and quality of both the submitted abstract and the oral presentation, with particular emphasis on clarity, significance, methodological rigor, and effective communication.
