Description
Alkermes’ Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS) program supports research designed and conducted by independent clinicians and scientists. It considers interventional and observational studies, monitoring and surveillance, registry analyses, historical chart reviews, secondary research and meta-analyses, and patient-reported outcomes.
Current interests include symptoms, disease progression, biomarkers, treatment adherence and orexin biology in narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia. For schizophrenia and bipolar I disorder, Alkermes seeks research on olanzapine and samidorphan across phases of illness, weight management and co-occurring disorders. Schizophrenia interests also include aripiprazole lauroxil across the adult lifespan, caregiver and healthcare impacts, and use in underserved settings.
