Description
This Fulbright teaching/research award, sponsored by Universidad Camilo José Cela (UCJC), supports scholars who will enrich the university’s academic offerings in Madrid. Teaching established undergraduate courses accounts for up to 70% of grant activity, with research collaboration with UCJC professors accounting for 30%. Scholars may teach parts of courses across several departments, in English, and must undertake teaching and research designated by the host institution.
Projects are welcomed in all disciplines, with particular interest in international relations, business and technological entrepreneurship, and communications and new media in global affairs. The award also advances Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other nations. Scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community.
