Description
This Fulbright Scholar teaching/research award, sponsored by Universidad de Jaén, supports academic exchange in Andalusia, Spain. Scholars teach established undergraduate courses or parts of courses in English, conduct research chosen by themselves or designated by the host, and develop collaborations with university faculty. Teaching comprises 6 ECTS, equivalent to one full course, within one or two established courses. Scholars also present their research and attend faculty research seminars.
Applications are welcome in all disciplines. The university particularly encourages business, social sciences, engineering—including artificial intelligence, computer and data sciences, and renewable energy—and global health. These fields align with its strategic priorities. Student advising, mentoring, and community engagement complement the academic activities and Fulbright’s goal of strengthening international understanding and cooperation.
