The Fulbright Scholar Program enables U.S. scholars in any discipline to teach and/or conduct research at Armenian institutions, fostering academic collaboration and cultural exchange.

Funding Amounts: Monthly stipend: $4,370–$5,760 plus allowances; travel, relocation, and research support; award duration 3–10 months (Flex option available).

Key Information: PhD or terminal degree and at least 5 years' university-level teaching/professional experience required; English sufficient.
This award supports U.S. academics, professionals, and artists to teach, conduct research, or combine both activities at universities and institutions throughout Armenia. Scholars design their own projects and can propose placements at a wide range of Armenian institutions, with final placement coordinated by the U.S. Embassy. Grantees are expected to teach undergraduate or graduate courses, mentor students, assist with curriculum and faculty development, and/or engage in collaborative research. The program aims to foster international academic exchange, strengthen U.S.-Armenia relations, and promote mutual understanding. The award is open to all academic disciplines and offers a Flex option for multiple short-term stays over two years.
