The Fulbright Scholar Award for All Disciplines in Azerbaijan provides U.S. scholars, professionals, and artists the opportunity to engage in teaching, research, or professional projects at universities and organizations throughout Azerbaijan, including both the capital city Baku and regional centers. Awardees may teach undergraduate or graduate courses, participate in curriculum and faculty development, conduct independent or host-designated research, or undertake professional/artistic projects such as consultations, mentoring, public lectures, and regional outreach. The program is designed to foster international understanding, support educational modernization in Azerbaijan, and build lasting personal and institutional ties between the U.S. and Azerbaijan. The award offers flexibility, including the option for multiple short-term stays (Flex option) over a two-year period.
