Description
This Fulbright Scholar award supports work in all disciplines at designated public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Scholars may teach undergraduate or graduate courses, conduct independently proposed or host-designated research, join ongoing research, or undertake professional and artistic projects. Activities can also include curriculum development, faculty training, thesis advising, workshops, and student mentoring. Combined teaching/research projects allocate approximately 40% of grant time to teaching and 60% to research.
The program seeks to strengthen relationships between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina through international understanding and cooperation. Preference goes to proposals advancing bilateral ties, particularly shared economic prosperity and regional safety and stability, alongside the country’s educational, economic, social, civil, or legal advancement. Scholars may also be asked to give public talks and engage with host communities.
