Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports teaching and research across all disciplines at higher education institutions in Cambodia. Scholars teach undergraduate or graduate courses within their specialization, including courses designated by the host or chosen by the scholar, and conduct research of their choosing. Teaching involves up to 10 hours per week. The award also requires student advising or mentoring and assistance with faculty, curriculum, or program development.
The Fulbright Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, promotes international understanding and cooperation through educational exchange. In Cambodia’s developing higher education system, scholars can contribute to research skills, curriculum development, and program evaluation while building relationships with Cambodian educators and students. Public talks and engagement with the wider host community may complement the primary academic activities.
