Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports academics, artists, and professionals undertaking teaching, research, combined teaching/research, or professional projects in Georgia. Projects may include undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising and mentoring, curriculum development, scholar-designed or host-designated research, and artistic or professional exchanges. Professional projects may involve local NGOs and other nonacademic institutions through consultations, exhibitions, public events, or preparation of books, articles, and reviews.
The award promotes international understanding and cooperation while strengthening Georgian higher education’s connections with Europe and the United States. Work may introduce modern teaching and evaluation methods or help host institutions develop internationalization strategies. Scholars may also be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with host communities beyond their primary project activities.
