This opportunity enables U.S. scholars, professionals, and artists to undertake research, teaching, professional projects, or a combination thereof at universities, research institutes, and other institutions across Jamaica. The program is open to all disciplines, with priority areas including security, trade, governance, health, education, energy, economic development, democratic citizenship, and the cultural and creative sectors. Scholars are encouraged to engage in public outreach and contribute to institutional and community development in Jamaica. The award allows for a range of activities, including mentoring, curriculum development, thesis advising, and facilitating seminars. A Flex option is available for those seeking multiple short-term stays over two years.
