Description
This Fulbright Scholar award supports combined teaching and research in Mauritius, administered locally by the U.S. Embassy. Scholars teach undergraduate or graduate courses designated by their host institution, supervise undergraduate projects, advise theses, provide tutorials, mentor students, and contribute to faculty, curriculum, or program development. They also conduct research in their specialization and may deliver seminars or workshops with the Embassy.
Projects are welcome in all disciplines. Particular interests include eCommerce, business, economics, good governance, public administration, entrepreneurship, financial-sector transparency, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and Fintech. The program aims to strengthen relationships between the United States and other nations through international understanding and cooperation. Public talks and engagement with the host community complement scholars’ teaching and research.
