    Description

    This Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award enables American scholars, professionals, and artists from any discipline to undertake a combination of teaching and research at prominent institutions in Mauritius, including the University of Mauritius, Middlesex University, Open University, University of Technology, and the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Awardees are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise student projects, advise theses, contribute to curriculum development, and conduct independent research. Additional engagement with the host community, such as seminars or workshops in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy, is encouraged to promote international understanding and cooperation. The program aims to strengthen academic collaboration and cultural exchange between the United States and Mauritius.
