This award supports U.S. scholars, including academics and professionals at all career stages, to undertake teaching, research, or a combination of both at Mongolian institutions of higher education or research. Projects can be proposed in any discipline, with priority areas including agriculture, anthropology, business, computer science, education, engineering, environmental sciences, geology, journalism, medical sciences, public administration, public health, social work, tourism, and urban planning. Scholars are encouraged to collaborate with local colleagues, engage with students, assist with curriculum development, and participate in community outreach. The Fulbright Mongolia program seeks to foster mutual understanding and academic exchange between the United States and Mongolia.
