Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports work in all disciplines at an appropriate host institution in Mongolia. Scholars may teach undergraduate or graduate courses, conduct independently chosen or host-designated research, undertake professional or artistic projects, or combine teaching and research. Activities can also include faculty, curriculum, and program development and supervision of graduate research. The U.S. government-sponsored Fulbright Program promotes international understanding through educational exchange.
Projects should address subjects relevant to Mongolia, the United States, or U.S.-Mongolia relations. Scholars collaborate with host colleagues, engage students, and participate in local communities. Alongside their primary activities, they may be asked to give public talks or mentor students. Approximately one recipient is expected, with 10-month grants preferred.
