Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports work in all disciplines at the University of Montenegro, Montenegro’s only public university. Scholars may teach undergraduate or graduate courses, conduct self-designed or host-designated research, pursue professional or artistic projects, mentor students, and assist with faculty, curriculum, or program development. Teaching/Research projects may use any balance of activities, provided they include teaching.
The program seeks to strengthen relationships between people in the United States and Montenegro through academic exchange, international understanding, and community engagement. Scholars may also be asked to give public talks and mentor students beyond their primary activities. Approximately one recipient is supported. The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, with U.S. Scholar applications administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
