Key Information: Teaching experience is required; a PhD is preferred but not required.
Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, teaching/research combinations, and professional or artistic projects in North Macedonia. Scholars may teach courses of their own design or those designated by a host, consult on curriculum development, mentor students, and assist with faculty and program development. Research may address the scholar’s specialization or a host-designated project.
All disciplines are welcome, with particular interest in economic growth, border and information security, countering transnational threats, and responsible integration of emerging technologies, including AI. The Fulbright Scholar Program is sponsored by the U.S. government through the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Beyond their primary projects, scholars may give public talks and engage with host communities to strengthen international understanding and cooperation.
