This Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program opportunity enables American scholars, artists, and professionals to teach, conduct research, or combine both activities at higher education or research institutions in the Philippines. The award is open to all academic disciplines, with particular interest in fields such as civic education, urban development, democratic governance, environmental sustainability, human rights, ICT, international law, STEM, and peace and conflict studies. Projects may involve teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, conducting independent or host-designated research, advising and mentoring students, assisting in curriculum and faculty development, and participating in seminars and workshops. Preference is given to research projects involving collaboration with local scholars. Grantees are encouraged to affiliate with institutions outside Metro Manila and engage in community outreach to foster international understanding.
