This postdoctoral award supports recent PhD graduates (within five years of completion) to undertake original research and/or teach at Czech public universities or research institutions. Fellows are integrated into the academic and local community, with opportunities to publish, expand professional networks, and engage in public talks or mentoring. The award is open to all academic disciplines and is part of the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program’s mission to promote international collaboration and mutual understanding. Host institutions may request specific teaching or research activities, and the fellowship includes orientation and networking events, as well as support for adjusting to life in the Czech Republic.
