Description
Administered by Fulbright Israel, also known as the United States–Israel Educational Foundation, this fellowship supports sustained research and collaboration at accredited Israeli institutions of higher education. Projects may be proposed by applicants or designated by hosts. All academic disciplines are welcome, including scientific, qualitative, quantitative, and practice-based research, such as artistic research. Work may be experimental, clinical, or applied, with outcomes ranging from publications and patents to exhibitions, performances, and compositions.
The fellowship also advances Fulbright’s goal of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other nations through international understanding and cooperation. Alongside their research, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with their host communities. Fulbright Israel offers arrival orientation and cultural and academic events throughout the year.
