This opportunity enables U.S. scholars, professionals, and artists to spend 3–9 months in Romania to teach, conduct research, or pursue professional projects in any academic or professional field. Projects can be self-designed or developed in collaboration with a Romanian host institution, which may include universities, research institutes, NGOs, or other relevant organizations. Activities may include teaching undergraduate/graduate courses, mentoring students, curriculum development, collaborative research, public lectures, and engagement with the broader Romanian academic and cultural community. The program seeks to foster mutual understanding and long-term academic and professional relationships between the U.S. and Romania.
