Funding Amounts: $2,620–$2,720 monthly for research or $3,390–$3,710 for teaching/teaching-research, for 4–5 months, plus allowances

Key Information: A PhD or other terminal degree is required, and a host invitation must be secured at least three months before departure.
Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports teaching, research, or a combination of both in Slovenia across all disciplines. Scholars may pursue research of their choosing or projects designated by a host institution, and teach undergraduate or graduate courses developed by themselves or their hosts. Business, Computer Science, Journalism, Environmental Science, and American Studies are particularly encouraged.
The Fulbright Scholar Program is sponsored by the U.S. government through the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Its exchanges aim to strengthen relationships between people in the United States and other countries and promote international understanding and cooperation. Alongside their primary academic activities, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with their host communities.
