The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award for Slovenia supports U.S. scholars to teach, research, or do both in any discipline at Slovene institutions, promoting academic and cultural exchange between the U.S. and Slovenia.

Funding Amounts: Up to 5 awards; 4–5 months; monthly stipend $2,620–$3,710 plus allowances, travel, and dependent support; housing provided by host.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award for All Disciplines in Slovenia offers U.S. scholars the opportunity to teach, conduct research, or combine both activities at Slovene higher education or research institutions. Projects may be proposed in any academic discipline, with particular encouragement for applications in Business, Computer Science, Journalism, Environmental Science, and American Studies. Scholars may propose their own host institution and project, and are expected to engage with the local academic community through teaching, research, public talks, and mentoring. All activities are designed to foster international understanding and cooperation between the United States and Slovenia.
