Description
This university-sponsored Fulbright award supports a combination of teaching and research at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). Applications are considered in all UC3M disciplines. Scholars conduct a research project of their choosing while teaching established undergraduate courses, delivering master’s-level guest lectures, and/or offering doctoral seminars. They are also invited to present their research, attend faculty seminars, and develop research collaborations.
The award advances Fulbright’s goal of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other countries through international understanding and cooperation. Beyond their academic activities, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community. Placements are at UC3M’s schools in Getafe or its School of Engineering in Leganés, Madrid.
