Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar teaching/research award is sponsored by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in Spain. It welcomes projects in all disciplines, with particular interest in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Leadership and Business profiles. Teaching accounts for up to 60% of grant activity and research for up to 40%. Scholars contribute to undergraduate, master’s, and executive education, with opportunities for doctoral seminars and guest lectures.
Teaching priorities include innovation and entrepreneurship, strategic leadership, emotional intelligence, team building, organizational change, business decisions, and customer needs. Scholars pursue their own research, present at seminars, and explore collaboration with UPM faculty. Student mentoring, public talks, and host-community engagement support Fulbright’s goal of strengthening U.S.–Spain relationships and international understanding.
