Description
This award supports U.S. scholars from any academic discipline to spend four months at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), a leading technical university in Spain, engaging in a combination of teaching (up to 40%) and research (at least 60%). Scholars may teach graduate and undergraduate courses, deliver guest lectures, participate in seminars, mentor students, and collaborate on research projects with UPC faculty. The program is designed to foster academic exchange, promote international understanding, and strengthen professional relationships between the U.S. and Spain. UPC is recognized for excellence in engineering, architecture, applied sciences, and technology, with campuses across Barcelona and neighboring towns.
