Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar teaching/research award is sponsored by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC), a public university in Spain specializing in engineering, architecture, sciences, and technology. Research accounts for 60% of grant activity, with graduate-level teaching comprising up to 40%. Scholars may deliver guest lectures in master’s programs, lead doctoral seminars, present their research, attend UPC faculty seminars, and collaborate with university colleagues.
Projects in all disciplines are welcome, with priority given to UPC’s high-interest fields. Beyond academic exchange, the program seeks to strengthen relationships between people in the United States and other countries and promote international understanding and cooperation. Scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community alongside their primary work.
