Description
The Fulbright Scholar Program’s All Disciplines award in Vietnam supports academics and professionals teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, or combining teaching with research in their specialization. Scholars work with Vietnamese counterparts on curriculum and program development, faculty development workshops, student mentoring, and staff training. Hosts may be educational institutions, research institutions, or government ministries capable of sponsoring a visa.
All disciplines are welcome. Particular interests include STEM proposals supporting Vietnam’s role in the global semiconductor supply chain, initiatives advancing English as an official second language, and programs countering cybersecurity threats. Alongside their primary work, scholars give public talks, mentor students, and engage with host communities to strengthen relationships and promote international understanding and cooperation.
