Description
This program aims to strengthen the capacity of states, territories, and Tribal entities to implement, expand, and sustain Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Patient Safety Bundles and related resources. The goal is to improve the quality and safety of maternity care, enhance maternal health outcomes, and reduce preventable maternal mortality and severe maternal morbidity through evidence-informed practices in obstetrics and gynecology or maternal health.
Awardees lead AIM activities within their jurisdictions, supporting quality improvement initiatives, expanding the reach and depth of AIM efforts, and facilitating effective data collection and reporting. The program is part of a broader national effort to promote best practices and save lives through safer birth experiences.
